Hello! My name is Rebecca Meisinger. I am in my third year as the Teacher Librarian for a K-5 school in Oak Park, IL. Prior to this position, I taught 3rd grade for 17 years, and along the way earned a Masters in Reading. My passion has always been implementing powerful books to enhance the curriculum and to facilitate discussions. I loved doing this within my third grade classroom for so many years, and now I'm lucky to be sharing amazing literature, teaching literacy/digital literacy skills and STEAM lessons with our whole school population. School librarian=best job ever!
